Life Update
So just a few things I feel like talking about aka a mind dump.
Quick update: I’m nearing the end of the semester and I’m stressed the f*ck out. On Monday it’s my last day of classes then finals hit. I have a fat to-do list for both school and life in general. I just have a lot going on. I’m pretty exhausted honestly. I recently chose classes for the fall semester and luckily I was able to get all my classes, but unfortunately for me, I didn’t get all the teachers I was aiming for and I have to do 4 days a week. I haven't gone to school for more than 2 days a week since high school but, at least I’ll be graduating exactly a year from now!
So aside from the stresses of school, I started growing a bunch of succulents and I started a compost bin! I’m trying to water propagate my succulent leaves and have pretty much this whole garden on my kitchen counter. I’m waiting for those to grow some roots and I have a big project planned with all of them. I planted some flowers a couple of weeks ago around my garden bed and most of them are starting to bloom and I’m such a proud plant mama honestly! I’ve never grown flowers from seeds that I can remember, we’ve always purchased pregrown ones and planted those, so this is extremely exciting for me.
Another thing: I have been reading a lot, but not as much nor as quickly as I was since I currently have other things going on aka term papers and finals. I finished a book within a day on my kindle after finishing Normal People (which I absolutely loved, peep my review), and now I’m back to my physical paper books. I started After by Anna Todd because I’m obsessed with the movie and I bought the whole series. These books are freaking huge though. They’re all close to 600 pages so it’ll take me some time to finish those. I will probably do an individual review on each book since I can compare the first to the film, or maybe I’ll only review After and not the rest, orrrr I can do a whole book series review. I don’t know, I’ll decide later.
I honestly just wanted to ramble a little bit and let you know what’s going on just in case I go missing from my blog because I’m drowning in school. No biggie though! Once things cool down I’ll go back to reading my days away and swimming every day and bike rides and baking and cooking and sleeping and gardening. School’s good, don’t get me wrong, but there are better things out there that I’m looking forward to.
