Little Life Update
Well here’s a little life update to end the year. I am currently writing this on my lunch break (while I’m working from home because I caught a cold) and if you haven’t heardddd, I got a job! I started the Monday right after Thanksgiving so it’ll be a month in 8 days! Wow oh wow. I am a Jr. purchasing agent at NHS, inc. (If you know Santa Cruz Skateboards, Independent Trucks, Creature, etc. well that's my company!) It's super awesome and it’s fun working over in Santa Cruz also p.s. if you’re ever over there during the week hit me up so we can have lunch yeehaw.
But what a huge adjustment going from endless free time to a full time job. I’m currently trying to find a work-life balance and I feel like I’m slowly getting there. Over the past week I’ve been working on my crafts again like sewing and crocheting ~and got some pretty new yarn and a DIY book so let me know if you want something. Everything’s cool and adulting is hard but it’s fun.
So some big things that happened this year just in case I don’t squeeze in another post before New Years and it’s fun to have a recap:
~ I graduated from SJSU with a B.S. in Business Management
~ I exceeded my savings goal (bless up unemployment)
~ I started and quit a job in the same week lol it just wasn’t it and I wanted a job I can progress in.
~ I got the job at NHS woohoo!
~ I made my dream quilt jacket!!!
~ I went to Puerto Vallarta (and got the Mexican juice cleanse oh man)
~ I went fly fishing in Tahoe with my new fly fishing pole and hung out on a dock at Donner Lake with my bff loml Trevvvvv (and we saw a bear!!!)
~ I went to Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana all in one trip!!! Wow I miss this!!
~ I sold my Burberry jacket I bought at goodwill for $8 and sold it for $265 ;) very proud moment of mine.
~And a bummer one but big change nonetheless, I found out I have celiac disease so I can no longer eat gluten forever. So cheers to a gluten free life! I’ll post recipes as I figure this whole thing out.
