Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

If you didn’t know, I went to Mexico! I’ve been back for about a week and a half now and finally decided to write a post!
We were there for a solid week at Riu Vallarta, an all inclusive resort. Very beautiful hotel and cool swim up bar but there. were. no. tacos!!!!!! I was preparing myself the whole week before to eat tacos this whole trip but they served pretty much no Mexican food at the resort. We did go out of the resort a lot and the tacos we got around town were amazingggg and the salsa was phenomenal. I had 5.5 one day and 7 another day. If you go to Puerto Vallarta I highly recommend stopping at Pepe’s Tacos and Taco Jr.’s.

Oh yeah and I got what I’ve been calling the Mexican juice cleanse. I got either food poisoning or accidentally drank some of the water. I’m not sure I just know that my stomach was destroyed.

Aside from all that nonsense, we went to Sayulita one of the days which is officially my favorite place in Mexico. It’s a little colorful beach town and it’s what you would imagine a surf town to be like. It was so warm and the water was also very warm but it was so colorful everywhere and that was the one blue sky day we had since arriving.

While we’re on that topic, the rain storms are nutty! I haven’t been in a storm like that since I went to North Carolina! It was pouring rain with lightening and thunder right above us. Absolutely crazy!
