Spring Break (4evr)

Howdy. For mine and Trev’s final spring break (because next month we’ll be college graduates can I get a hoya?) we headed down to San Diego and Laguna Beach! This is one of my faaaaavorite trips that we unfortunately didn’t get to do last year for obvious reasons.

We got to explore San Diego a little more this time and to sum it up La Jolla and sunset cliffs is amazing. So is Coronado Island and the giant bridge to get there! We also found this super cool staircase that made me feel like the joker but you know… San Diego style. There was this super cute hotel that gave little Parisian vibes with their stripes and bricks and flowers on the walls and all that good stuff.

If you go to La Jolla, eat at the Cove House. The people were so nice and there adult strawberry lemonade is bomb. Trev surfed everyday we were in Encinitas and San Diego but I’m like ~ hey maybe I shouldn’t bring my surfboard or my beach umbrella it should be okay ~ but I was super wrong and now we must redo the trip!!! If you got to Encinitas I recommend checking out Better Buzz Coffee. They have a ton of options and it’s just a very cool coffee shop overall. I believe they have several locations but this is the one we went to. And go to Leucadia Donuts!! Best donut shop ever. The guys always so nice when we go and we had our donuts and paid all in under a minute. 10/10. And since I’m now naming off places, also try Bier Garden and the Taco Stand and Lotus Cafe. Okay for Lotus Cafe all their stuff is organic and healthy and soooooo good. Their breakfast burrito is huge and so freaking tasty. If you wanna try breweries check out Saint Archer’s and Culture Brewing Co. We still have yet to try Culture Brewing but when we went to Encinitas 2 years ago they were having western Wednesday there and it was super awesome and I’m bummed we didn’t get the memo. Plus it just looks cool there.

We went to this super cool shop called Seaweed & Gravel which is like a old school motorcycle shop and surf and western shop. This shop has my heart. If I were a shop this is what I would be. I’m truly obsessed. We also went to this plant shop called Landmark Plant Co. which was like a little shack and a whole outdoor area which was beautifulllll! I have pics on my film camera so just you wait.

Everyone meet Dax. “Hiiiii Dax.” We stayed with Trev’s aunt and uncle in Laguna which I absolutely love them and their house and their dogs. Best family! Our trip was technically long but felt short and very sweet and I’m sad we had to come home. Also I have film pictures from this trip that must be developed so stay tuned.

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. C ya.
