38th Annual Spring Meet at Kelley Park
Over the weekend Trev and I went to the VW Spring Meet at Kelley Park. Turns out I haven’t been since 2019! Time flys. I really thought I went in 2021 but I guess not! It was such a good turn out! I did plan on bringing June all year but at last minute I decided not to. I’ve basically put her in hibernation all winter because of our crazy weather and I didn’t complete as much work as I would’ve liked, so I felt like she wasn’t “show ready”. All good though because there’s some other really good VW events this year that I plan on entering her in! Just in case you might be interested in attending:

Oct. 7th - VDUBlicious Wharf Invasion Vintage Volkswagen Car Show at Santa Cruz Wharf
There’s also two camping trips during the summer at Mt. Madonna as well as Big Sur that I’m considering. I have a lot of plans with June this year! I’ve been slightly nervous to driver her for whatever reason but she’s a tank so I’d like to take her out more. I also plan on cleaning up and customizing the inside a bit more this year so keep a lookout for that and follow the restoration journey @junethebus.
